The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus was fully God and fully man. We know that He ".......grew in favor with God and man." We know that He was considered a great teacher. Without a doubt, Mary recognized that all which was promised by the angel Gabriel came true. Spending years in His presence made her not just a proud mother, but it certainly made her a believer! We don't know exactly what it was that Mary knew or saw when she gazed into the eyes of her newborn Baby. We can only imagine. But we are firmly convinced that when she beheld His temporarily lifeless form being lowered from the cross, she recognized not only her Son, but her Savior!
